Welcome and thank you for visiting the Luxembourg Mixed Martial Arts Federation (FLMMA) and our brand new website.

The FLMMA is an official member of the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) and the official sanctioning body for MMA amateur fights in Luxembourg.

As an official federation under the status of a non-profit association, we promote and regulate the sport of Mixed Martial Arts in Luxembourg.

We care about the health and safety of our young and upcoming fighters. It is our aim to provide a safe platform for their development under the best possible conditions.

We had a great 2017 with some impressive results and we welcome you to join us for the great things that lie ahead in 2018!

Luxembourg to participate at the 2018 IMMAF European Championships in Bucharest, Romania from 18-22 June

We are proud to announce that Luxembourg will participate at the 2018 IMMAF European Championships in Bucharest in Romania from 18-22 June.

This time we have 5 athletes competing. They include IMMAF veterans José Teixeira (70.3 kg), Isa Isakov (77.1 kg), Yann Liasse (77.1 kg) and our newcomers Remy Ferreira (61.2 kg) and Sadok Hakimi (61.2 kg).

Educational video: MMA in Context

The International MMA Federation (IMMAF) has released its latest educational video: MMA in Context.

As an educational tool for Mixed Martial Arts, the feature has been produced with a layman audience in mind and aims to correct misconceptions, misinformation and prejudices surrounding use of the caged competition area and aspects of the sport’s ground game: working from the bottom position, stoppages and referee presence, etc.

IMMAF Regulatory Affairs consultant, Marc Goddard, talks through the safety and technical elements of the ‘cage’ and groundwork in Amateur MMA – two defining elements of the sport. [Video by Michael Morgan]
